Accessibility Statement
We build cabinetry that has to work for the person using it every day, and we take the same view of this website. If any part of it is hard for you to read, navigate, or use, tell us and we will make it right.
Our Commitment
Baltic Cabinets wants every visitor to be able to look through our work, read about what we build, and get in touch with us — whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they use.
We treat accessibility the way we treat a cabinet run: something to be checked, adjusted, and improved rather than declared finished. Where we find a barrier on this site, we work to remove it.
What This Statement Covers
This statement applies to the pages on this website. It does not cover third-party websites we may link to, or content hosted by other companies such as review platforms and social media pages, because we do not control how those are built or maintained.
What We Do to Keep the Site Usable
We aim for a site that is simple and uncluttered — clear headings, plain language, and pages that do not bury the point. These are the practical steps we take.
Describe our photographs in text.
Our galleries carry a lot of the story of what we build, so each photograph is given a written description of what is actually in the picture — the cabinetry, the finish, the room — for anyone using a screen reader or browsing with images turned off.
Keep headings and structure in order.
Pages are laid out with headings in a logical order so you can jump through a page by heading rather than reading every word. Lists, buttons, and links are marked up as what they are, so assistive software announces them correctly.
Make the site work without a mouse.
Menus, links, and forms are built to be reached and operated with a keyboard. If you find a control on this site that you can see but cannot get to with the Tab key, that is a fault and we want to hear about it.
Keep text readable.
We use readable type sizes and aim for enough contrast between text and background that copy stays legible in bright light or on a small screen. Pages are built to reflow when you zoom in rather than cutting text off at the edge.
Known Limitations
Some material on this site was produced before our current accessibility checks, and some of it comes from outside sources — embedded maps, review feeds, and similar content — where we cannot change the underlying code.
We review these areas as we update the site and replace or repair what we can. If something in this category is stopping you from getting the information you need, contact us and we will supply that information another way.
Getting the Information Another Way
If a page on this site is not working for you, you do not have to wait for us to fix it. Call or email and we will read you the details, describe a project photograph, send measurements and options in a format that suits you, or take your project information over the phone instead of through a form.
Our team can also walk you through kitchens, vanities, closets, outdoor kitchens, and commercial work by phone, and arrange a jobsite meeting from there.
Accessibility of Our Cabinetry
Accessibility is not only a website matter for us. Because we fabricate everything ourselves, we can build to whatever dimensions a household needs — lowered counter heights, adjusted reach ranges, knee spaces, pull-out shelving, and hardware chosen for easier grip.
Odd sizes are not a problem for us. If you need cabinetry built around a specific physical requirement, tell our team at the measurement stage and we will draw it that way.
Tell Us About a Problem
If you run into a barrier on this site, we want the detail: which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device, browser, or assistive technology you were using. That is usually enough for us to reproduce the fault and fix it.
Send it through our contact form, or call or text (423) 463-4165. You can also write to us at 3806 Calhoon Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37407.
Updates to This Statement
We revise this statement as the site changes and as we correct the issues people report to us. The current version is always the one published here.
