Terms of Use
These are the terms that apply when you browse this website, ask us about a cabinet project, or have cabinetry built, delivered, and installed by our team.
What These Terms Cover
These terms apply to the Baltic Cabinets website and to anything you send us through it — a contact form, an estimate request, a phone call, or a text message. By using the site or asking us to price a cabinet project, you agree to what is set out on this page.
If anything here doesn't sit right with you, tell us before we begin work. It is far easier to sort out an expectation at the drawing stage than after the parts are cut.
Using This Website
You're welcome to read, print, and share these pages while you plan your project. What you can't do is copy our photographs, drawings, or written content for commercial use, scrape the site, or present our work as somebody else's. Every finished job in our gallery of completed projects was built and installed by our own shop.
Estimates, Measurements, and Pricing
Estimates are free. Measurements are not always free. If you supply accurate dimensions and details about the space, we can usually quote from them at no charge. If we need to come out, measure and inspect the existing conditions, that visit may be billed — and we will tell you the cost before it is scheduled.
An estimate reflects the scope, materials, and hardware discussed at the time it was written. Change the layout, the door style, or the hardwood and the number changes with it. Ask us for a revised estimate before fabrication starts so the invoice holds no surprises.
How a Project Runs
Our team handles every job from measurement through installation, with a dedicated specialist for each step. After the jobsite meeting we prepare drawings and send the estimate; from your approval, fabrication, delivery, and installation typically run two to three weeks.
Drawings come before fabrication.
Nothing is cut until you have seen and approved the drawings. They are the record of the sizes, finishes, and hardware you agreed to, so read them closely and flag anything that looks wrong while it is still only on paper.
The space has to be ready on installation day.
Walls, floors, plumbing, and electrical rough-ins need to be where the drawings say they are. If the room isn't ready when our installers arrive, we will reschedule and the delivery date may move.
Lead times are estimates, not guarantees.
Two to three weeks from approved estimate to installed cabinetry is typical, but material availability and change requests can shift it. We will tell you as soon as we know a date has moved.
Materials, Finishes, and Real Wood
We build with high-quality plywood and hardwood and fabricate everything in our own shop rather than ordering from overseas. Because it is real wood, grain, color, and figure vary from board to board, and a small stained sample will never match a finished door exactly.
Those variations are part of the material, not a defect. If a particular grain or color matters to you, say so early and we will work it into the drawings and the material selection.
Warranty on Our Work
Our workmanship is covered for a minimum of one year from installation. Hardware, appliances, and other manufactured components carry their own manufacturer coverage, generally three to four years, and we pass those details on with your paperwork.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, standing water, or changes made to our cabinetry by someone else after we leave. There is more on this in our answers to the questions we get asked most.
Custom Orders and Changes
Cabinetry built to your sizes and specification cannot be resold or restocked, so once fabrication has started the parts belong to your project. If you need to change or cancel an approved order, call us as soon as you can — what is still possible depends entirely on how far along the build is, and we will be straight with you about where it stands.
Photos, Reviews, and Anything You Send Us
If you send us project photographs, comments, or a review, you are giving us permission to publish them on this website and on our business profiles. Please only send material that is yours to share.
We would always rather hear about a problem from you directly, while there is still something we can do about it, than read it for the first time online.
Accuracy of This Site
We keep the pages describing our cabinet work and the areas we cover as accurate as we can, but photographs, product details, and general pricing guidance can go out of date. Nothing on this website is a binding quote. The only figure you can rely on is the written estimate prepared for your project.
Links to Other Websites
Some pages link out to manufacturers, suppliers, or review platforms. Those sites have their own terms and their own handling of your information, and we don't control what they publish. Follow those links at your own discretion.
Limits on Our Responsibility
We stand behind the cabinetry we build and install, and our warranty is how we fix anything that goes wrong with it. Beyond that, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as time away from work, delays caused by other trades on the same jobsite, or costs arising from work someone else performed in the space.
Changes to These Terms
We may update this page as our services, scheduling, or warranty terms change. The version posted here is always the current one, so it is worth a quick read before you approve a new project with us.
